North Montgomery County affected by tornado warning
Nashville, Tennessee — The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a tornado warning for northern Montgomery County.
Affected areas include Clarksville, Bomps Mills, Big Rock and Fort Campbell. At 1202 am central time, radar confirmed that a large and extremely dangerous tornado was located near Bumpus Mills and Big Rock, moving eastward at a speed of 60 miles per hour.
This is a particularly dangerous situation. Cover immediately! This is a life-threatening situation. The scattered debris can be fatal to those caught without shelter. The mobile home will be destroyed. Houses, businesses, and vehicles may suffer considerable damage and may be completely destroyed. To repeat, a huge, extremely dangerous and potentially fatal tornado is on the ground.
